The MARBERO M82 sits at the small end of the portable power station spectrum, and that is really the point. Its 88.8Wh battery and 80W continuous AC limit make it better suited to phones, cameras, routers, lights, tablets, and lower-power laptops than anything resembling serious appliance backup.
Small Battery, Clear Mission
The two AC outlets can supply up to 80W continuously with a 120W peak. That is enough for plenty of everyday electronics, but high-draw appliances are firmly off the menu. Plugging in a space heater would be a very efficient way to discover the M82’s limitations.
Where the M82 performs better is connection variety. Eight outputs include two AC outlets, two conventional USB-A ports, two Quick Charge 3.0 USB-A ports, an 18W USB-C PD port, and a DC output. It is an impressive collection for something this compact.
Charging and Solar Compatibility
MARBERO says the included wall adapter can take the battery from zero to 80% in about two hours, and pass-through charging lets the station power devices while it is being recharged. Solar charging is also supported through a 15V to 24V input.
The important catch is that there is no solar panel in this package. Despite the frequent use of “solar generator” in product listings, this particular M82 is the power station only. A compatible panel has to be purchased separately.
Portability and Emergency Use
The M82’s compact body, integrated handle, battery-level indicator, and built-in LED light make it easy to keep around for camping or short power outages. The lighting system includes multiple brightness levels and an SOS mode, while the battery-management system adds protection against voltage problems, short circuits, overloads, overcurrent, and overheating.
Overall Assessment
The MARBERO M82 makes the most sense as a small electronics backup rather than a miniature substitute for a full-size power station. Its limited capacity and 80W AC ceiling are significant compromises, and the 18W USB-C port feels modest by current standards.
For users who prioritize portability, though, the M82 remains straightforward and versatile. Eight outputs, pass-through charging, optional solar input, emergency lighting, and a compact footprint give it more utility than its small battery might suggest.
